Scott Mann took the pole and lead all 75 laps of the Sportsman Street Stock Series race at USA to kick off the season in dominating fashion. The field was slowed for 8 cautions, mostly for small spins or incidents, but no one was able to do anything with the leader on the restarts as he held off multiple attempts from the field. Clay Snider ran strong up front and battle with Mann on multiple restarts, before a spin on lap 54 moved him to the back. Kyle Wood also had his shot but couldn’t get the run he needed either, as Mann pulled away each time. The final caution came out on lap 70, which led to the field pacing the final 5 laps under caution and Scott Mann coasted across the line for his 6th career Street Stock win. Kyle Wood hung onto 2nd with David fields rounding out the podium, with Matt Rolfe and Philip Thompson in 4th and 5th.
