Dreamer Racing Super Series – Super Late Models – Round 11 – May 2, 2019 – Irwindale Speedway Outer
For the first time, the Super Series battled under the lights of Irwindale’s Outer configuration in the HidesPride.com Championship 150.
Race Summary – Jacob Harberts led the field to green after the invert, but in the early laps Colin Allman and Jimmy Mullis moved their way to the front in a hurry. After a lap 37 restart, Mullis was able to hang on the outside of Allman, and used the momentum to work around the high side and into the lead. Mullis and Allman continued to maintain control of the top two spots through some cautions, but through it all Mullis eventually began to pull away. During the final run, Mullis’ lead grew out to over a second as he took the checkered flag for his 2nd win of the season.

Broadcast Replay:
Points Battle – Entering the night, the top five drivers each had a shot at the title, with Christian Challiner leading the way. But with a couple of the top runners getting into trouble throughout the race, including Challiner, the title would come down to a handful of points. Challiner rebounded for an 11th place finish, but Joe Schaffer Jr.’s top five finish was enough to overcome the deficit and escaped Irwindale just 6 points ahead. Schaffer added his 5th career Super Series title, and 11th overall SARA title, with 11 starts, 1 win, and 6 top fives.
HidesPride Head2Head Throwdown – Row 3 on the grid was selected at random for drivers to compete head-to-head, with Dallas Pataska (22nd) finishing ahead of Ty Majeski (25th) to win the Throwdown.
