Sim Marketing Solutions Super Series – Super Late Models – Race 6 – June 28, 2018 – Irwindale Speedway
For Round 6 of the season, the Super Series traveled west and took on the Irwindale Speedway for 150 laps.
Race Summary – Early on in the race it was Camaron Hamilton out front in front of the field, but a lap 25 restart would bring Joe Schaffer Jr. and company closer to him for a battle up front. Schaffer would eventually get to the high side to take over the lead, bringing David Krikorian with him, which set up a fight between the two drivers for the rest of the race. DK was able to stay within the tire tracks of Schaffer out front for most of the race, but never quite had enough to make his move. Schaffer would hold on to pick up his first win of the season, and his 46th career victory.
