Sim Marketing Solutions Super Series – Super Late Models – Round 8 – December 6, 2018 – Martinsville Speedway

In Round 8 of the season for the Super Series, they would take on the track known as the paperclip for 150 laps in the running of the SalTy Hookz 150.

Race Summary – Trevor Edwards took over the race lead early on in the first 10 laps of the event, and looked to run away and hide with it. After lap 100, a couple of restarts allowed Jimmy Mullis to join the fight for the lead as he worked his way up to 2nd. On the lap 133 restart, Mullis was able to hang to the outside of Edwards and nosed ahead at the line a couple times, just prior to another yellow flag flying. When the caution flew, timing and scoring credited Mullis with the lead, and he would hold off Edwards during the final laps to pick up his 3rd win of the season.
