Sim Marketing Solutions Super Series – Super Late Models – Race 10 – August 2, 2018 – Five Flags Speedway

In Round 10 of the season, the Super Series drivers took on the home of the SARA Fall Brawl which will take place later this year, for 150 laps in the Midwest Powersource 150 under the lights.

Race Summary – Trevor Edwards led the opening 37 laps of the race, but shortly after a restart Jimmy Mullis got a nose up under Edwards and took over the top spot. A long green flag run would see Mullis stretch his lead out over two seconds but a caution just after lap 100 would erase that gap. After the restart, Mullis had his hands full with Tim Bills who made a charge and up to the inside for the lead, but as the two battled another yellow would fly with Mullis ahead by about a foot. With Mullis back out front, he would hold off the field on the ensuing restarts and went on to pick up his 2nd win of the season.
