Sim Marketing Solutions Super Series – Super Late Models – Round 10 – December 20, 2018 – Lanier National Speedway
In what was originally scheduled to be the season finale until races at Oxford got postponed, the Super Series took on Lanier for Round 10 of the season.
Race Summary – After a full 10-car invert, Jarrid Boiros led the field to the green flag, and held the top spot for most of the first 84 laps up until lapped traffic caused the leaders to scramble, and Devon Morgan was able to come out with the lead. Shortly after a lap 107 restart with Morgan still out front, Ty Majeski made his way forward after being trapped for most of the race, and got to the bottom to take over the lead on lap 115. For the final 85 laps, Majeski held off Jimmy Mullis and the rest of the field to pick up his 82nd career SARA win.
Race Winner – Ty Majeski – Started 9th (10-car invert), 86 laps led
Top Five – 2nd Jimmy Mullis, 3rd Joe Schaffer Jr., 4th David Krikorian, 5th Justin LaDuke
Pole Winner – Alex McCollum (12.826 seconds)
Hard Charger – Logan Clampitt (+18 positions)
Points Battle – With the title already wrapped up for Mullis, he would extend his points lead up to 65 points leaving Lanier.
HidesPride Head2Head Throwdown – Row 4 on the grid was selected at random for drivers to compete head-to-head, with Joe Schaffer Jr. (3rd) finishing ahead of Tim Bills (9th) to win the Throwdown.
