On Thursday night, The Button Box Shop Super Series finished off the opening week of the 2017 Spring Season at NHMS in The Car Show Show NH 100. A total of 44 drivers would attempt to qualify, and it would be Tim Bills who picked up the Dean’s Satellite & Security Pole Award with a lap of 28.817 seconds.

An 8-car invert at the front of the field dropped Bills back into the pack, while rookie Richie Davidowitz would lead the 33-car starting field to the green. Davidowtiz, Josh Berry, and Joe Schaffer led laps in the first half of the race until cautions would breed cautions throughout the second half of the event.

Derek Robinson charged up the inside from his 15th starting spot and would inherit the lead on lap 62 after an incident out front, and he would spend the second half of the race holding off Daniel Pope on restarts. One final restart with 3 to go would see Pope get the jump out front over Robinson and crossed the finish line first, but officials deemed it to be a jumped start, and the win was handed back to Robinson who would score his 22nd career victory.

Pole Award – Tim Bills – 28.817 seconds
Hard Charger – 31st to 10th (+21) – Scott Dunlap
Rookie of the Race – 5th Place – Richie Davidowitz
