Penalty Box
All penalties and violations during the season will be listed below.
ALL DRIVERS
Car Control
This is a warning for all drivers, effective immediately starting in Round 5.
Drivers who are involved in an incident, and turn their car around in front of the leaders and cause additional incidents, will not be given any warnings moving forward and will receive a P1 Penalty. This serves as a warning for all drivers for pulling in front of the leaders. Other cases that do not involve leaders will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
If a driver spins or crashes, it is their responsibility to return onto the track in the correct direction in a safe manner, without putting other cars in danger of receiving damage. Drivers who turn their cars around on track and make contact with either oncoming cars, or turn their car around in front of oncoming traffic and force that traffic to wreck or make contact, will be subject to penalty.
*UPDATE - We have discovered that there may be an issue with Trading Paints and our league sessions, where schemes may not be showing properly if you have assigned a custom paint for our Contender/Dirt Night seasons. Drivers are still expected to run the correct numbers on their schemes, but at this time there will be no further penalties until we know the issue is resolved.*
As a reminder all drivers (*with exceptions for Super Series drivers) should be running the car numbers that were assigned to you on the Driver Roster of the league page, per section 1.3 of the Rulebook.
Drivers that are assigned a three digit number on the Driver Roster page must display all three digits, or can request a number change by emailing sarasimracing@gmail.com.
