While most of the field was on varying tire strategies, Joel Smith quickly jumped into the lead in the opening laps and controlled the pace from there. He fended off early challenges from aggressive drivers, and later resisted pressure from those who had saved their tires. Smith managed his tires well enough to secure the win, completing a clean sweep of the night with victories in both the LMSC and Pro LM races.

Rocky Boyd III quickly jumped out into lead in the opening laps, but Joel Smith was behind him putting the pressure on early. Smith made his move to the lead by lap 23, and despite battling with Boyd for the remainder of the race, Smith held on for the Pro Late Model victory.
