Hickory Doubleheader – Race 1 Summary

Alex McCollum won his heat race to secure the pole for the first half of the Hickory Doubleheader. McCollum held off Ty Majeski for the first 125 laps, then controlled the final few restarts, ultimately leading every lap to claim the St Patrick’s 150 victory.

Cole Cabre won his heat race and started on the pole for the Easter Bunny 150. He held off Ryan Kuhn during short runs and consistently pulled away from the field during longer runs. Leading every lap, Cabre dominated the second race of the Hickory Doubleheader and secured victory by nearly 1.5 seconds.
