The Callaway Investments Sportsman Series ran their second race of the season last night at the Irwindale Speedway for 75 laps. Bill Martin picked up the pole with a new track record, before dropping back with a 6-car invert. Joe Schaffer and Tyler Price each led early before Bill Martin joined the group as the three cars broke away out front while battling. Late in the race it ended up being Schaffer and Martin fighting it out side-by-side for the win, and Schaffer would prevail to make it back-to-back victories for this 23rd career SARA win.

Pole Award – Bill Martin – New Track Record 19.616 seconds
Hard Charger – 20th to 5th (+15) – Jake Watson
Rookie of the Race – 3rd Place – Seth DeMerchant

*Note: Final results were adjusted after the lap 71 crash that resulted in the race finishing under caution. All drivers that avoided the wreck and/or stopped to avoid it, were scored at the front of the field. Any driver involved in the wreck but kept their car going in the correct direction was scored in the position where they fell in line once making it past the wreck. Any driver that was fully involved in the wreck (spun out, flipped over, etc.) were scored at the back of the running order.
