The night got started with Trevor Edwards setting the first track record at the 3/8-mile track with a lap of 16.328 seconds. Wes Graham started up front after the invert but it was Clay Snider who took the lead on lap 1 as the field settled in and the field would settle in. Trevor Edwards charged up to take the lead for a dozen laps but it was Tim Bills who would fight him for the lead on lap 37, and the two would start to pull away as the race went green flag from start to finish. Matt Kocher joined the battle late to make it a three car fight to the finish and took a shot at Bills in the closing laps but couldn’t make it work and Bills would go on to pick up his 2nd Sportsman Series win of the season and his 16th career SARA win.

Edwards hung on for a podium finish and extended his points lead up to 12 points heading into next week’s race at Langley.
