The Button Box Shop Super Series visited the Iowa Speedway this past Thursday night in the Iowa Lions Foundation 100. Derek Holzhausen bested the 38 cars that attempted to qualify with a new track record of 22.275 seconds to pick up the Dean’s Satellite & Security Pole Award.

An 8-car invert brought Trevor Edwards to the front of the field where he would lead the opening 32 laps of the race. Darrell Hamlin took over on lap 33 and looked strong out front leading up to the final restart that came on lap 55 setting up a 45-lap run to the finish.

Hamlin led the field to the green, but it was Josh Berry that was picking his way through the top five and then set his sights on Hamlin out front. He would chase him down, and made his move into the lead on lap 68 and never looked back. Berry pulled away to over 4 seconds by the time he picked up the checkered flag for the victory, and his 3rd straight SARA win.

Derek Robinson maintains his points lead by 7 points after finishing in the 4th spot on the night.
