T&T Family Investments Modified Series – Tour Modifieds – Round 4 – March 12, 2019 – New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

On Tuesday night the Modified Series visited “The Magic Mile” of NHMS for a 75 lap feature event at the biggest track on the schedule.

Race Summary – The pair of Ty Spearman and Ty Majeski led the first 57 laps, but just as the race appeared to settle in, a late race caution setups up some drama over the final 20 laps. Conner Blaise took advantage of a lap 58 restart to grab the lead from Majeski, but another caution would bunch the field up for one last restart. Colin Allman had moved up to second and got a good start from the outside, which set up an intense battle for the lead between himself and Blaise over the next handful of laps as they exchanged the lead multiple times at the line. But with just 3 laps to go, the two would make contact in turn 3 sending Allman around, and forcing Blaise to the back of the pack. This incident handed the win over to Kyle Souza who fought back from some early race issues to put himself in the right spot late in the race to inherit the victory.

Race Winner – Kyle Souza – Started 12th, 3 laps led

Top Five – 2nd Joe Schaffer Jr., 3rd Brad Carpenter, 4th Colin Allman, 5th Scott Dunlap

Hard Charger – Kyle Souza (+11 positions)

Pole Winner – Ty Majeski – 27.977 seconds

Points Battle – Despite a late-race incident that knocked Ty Majeski out of the race, he hangs onto the top spot in the standings by 20 points heading into the next race at South Boston.
