Callaway Investments Modified Series – Tour Modifieds – Round 5 – Oct. 16, 2018 – The Bullring at LVMS
Race Summary – Keith Jeffery used the invert to inherit the lead early in the race, and looked solid up front until about halfway. Trevor Edwards was the first to charge under Jeffery for the lead, but a few laps later after a restart, Colin Allman also got by to take over the top spot. On a 45 lap run to the finish, Allman jumped ahead, but Edwards chased him down in the closing laps. After a couple crossovers and a few bumps, the two would come off of turn four on the final lap making contact, with Allman nosing ahead at the finish by .010 seconds for the 2nd photo finish in as many nights.
Race Winner – Colin Allman – Qualified 2nd, started 9th (10-car invert), 48 laps led
Top Five – 2nd Trevor Edwards, 3rd Conner Blaise, 4th Keith Jeffery, 5th Matthew Eddy
