10. Kevin J Myers – Last Week: 10th (+0)
Kevin moved up into the Power Rankings two weeks ago, but after last week, he’s just barely hanging on. He did have two good finishes which included a runner up finish at the Street Stock race at USA and then a 4th in the Pro Late Model race at Watkins Glen. His two there finishes were 16th and 25th, but for now he remains in the rankings. Look for him to rebound with some solid runs in Week 8.

9. Blake Brown – Last Week: NR (+2)
Blake is a newcomer to SARA with just four races under his belt, but he’s off to a strong start. He started Week 7 off by picking up his first career victory in the SK Shootout race at Martinsville, and then backed it up with a 2nd place finish in the Super Late Model at The Rock. Blake is sort of an unknown to us, but he’s shown so far that he can contend, so we’ll see how he does in Week 8.

8. Ty Spearman – Last Week: 8th (+0)
Ty had just a decent week overall in Week 7, just enough to keep him in the 8th spot in the rankings. He had a pair of 13th place finishes in the SK Modified and Super Late Model races, and then had his best finish of the week in the road course even with the Pro Late Models with a 7th. Look for Ty to have some improved runs in Week 8 as he looks to get back to contending for more wins.

7. Ryan Borges – Last Week: 9th (+2)
Ryan jumps up a couple spots this week after he ran his streak of top ten finishes up to 10 straight races, with 6 of those being top fives. He finished 4th in the SK Modifieds, and 5th in the Street Stocks. But the streak came to an end in the Super Late Model race when he ended up finishing in the 14th position. When one streak ends, another one needs to begin so look for Ryan to continue to pick up top tens.

6. Matt Rolfe – Last Week: 7th (+1)
Matt continued his consistent season with three more top ten finishes last week. He also made his first Pro Late Model start of the season and finished 12th on the road course, but his other finishes consisted of a 10th in the SK Mods, 4th in the Street Stocks, and he finished off the week with a 3rd in the Super Late Model race. The story of the season for Matt has been picking up top tens all season, so look for much of the same in Week 8.

5. James Linkiewicz – Last Week: 6th (+1)
James had a strong week in Week 7 as he continues to move up these Power Rankings. His week started off with a runner up finish in the SK Modified race at Martinsville. Then in the Pro Late Model race at the Glen, he had to start out back and worked his way back into an 11th. And then he ran strong in the Super Late Model race and ended up 6th. Look for some more solid runs from James in Week 8 to see if he can keep climbing in these standings.

4. Joe Schaffer Jr. – Last Week: 1st (-3)
One bad race for Joe all season and he drops out of the top spot in the rankings down to 4th. He had a good run in the Street Stocks with a 6th place finish. But in the road course event in the Pro Late Models, his night ended early when he wrecked into the end of pit road. He’s still a contender for three different titles this season, so look for him to rebound in Week 8 to move back up in the rankings and to stay in the title hunt.

3. Casey Kelley – Last Week: 4th (+1)
Casey ran well once again in Week 7, as he picked up his 3rd victory in the Street Stock division in just 5 starts. Then in the Pro Late Model race at the Glen, he picked up another top five. Constantly running towards the front in each race, Casey is sneaking his way into the Street Stock title chase, and will look to continue to run up front as we roll into Week 8.

2. Cody Kelley – Last Week: 2nd (+0)
Cody hangs in at the number two spot in the rankings this week with a pair of solid finishes in Week 7. He was running up front in the SK Modified race before getting caught up in an incident but rebounded for a 3rd place finish. Then he had a solid run in the Pro Late Model road course race for an 8th place finish. It’s been a couple weeks since Cody has been number 1 in these rankings, but Cody we expect to see him right up here in the rankings throughout the end of the season.

1. David Krikorian – Last Week: 3rd (+2)
David makes his first appearance at the top of the Power Rankings as he picked up not one, but two victories in Week 7. We predicted he would win the Pro Late Model road course race at the Glen, and he did just that by dominating the race. Then he backed it up by running up front all race and charging to the lead on a late restart in the Super Late Model race at Rockingham. David is currently contending for two championships as the season winds down, so look for more of these strong runs.

New This Week: Blake Brown
Dropped Out: Ty Majeski
Just Outside, Looking In: Ty Majeski, Cody Thompson, Michael German

*Power Rankings are based off a driver’s performance over the past three weeks of the season. Wins, poles, laps led, top fives, and top tens all effect a drivers position in the power rankings in a positive way, while finishes outside of the top fifteen or worse, and failing to qualify for races will effect it in a negative way.
