Last week during Week #2 of the season, we saw some familiar names return to victory lane. Across the board in all five divisions, the total car count was 141 cars and 63 different drivers made an appearance. Before we head into Week #3 of the season, let’s take a look at last week’s Power Rankings:

10. Anthony Celentano, Jarrett Lawrence & Robby Roy – Last Week’s Rank: NR
Each of these drivers have had a solid start to their season. Anthony has picked up three top tens and one top five, in four races so far. Jarrett has picked up two top tens and one top five while currently sitting in 4th in PLM points. And Robby has earned himself a pair of 3rd place finishes to put him 2nd in the Street Stock points. Each driver has started off the season in the right direction so we’ll look to see if they can keep it up.

9. Justin Brooks – Last Week’s Rank: 5th (-4)
Justin came up just one spot short when he finished 2nd in the Street Stock race last week, but found some trouble in the Pro Late Model race that dropped him back to a 20th place finish. We know how dominant he can be though, so we expect Justin to start climbing these rankings soon.

8. Ty Spearman – Last Week’s Rank: NR
We know Ty has the speed to be running up front each week, and last Thursday he proved us right by taking over the lead late and coasting to the victory while leading the final 26 laps of the race. The win was his 2nd career Super Late Model win. With more runs like that, Ty could be on his way to contend for the title in the division.

7. Kevin J Myers – Last Week’s Rank: 7th (+0)
Kevin had a solid week last week to remain at number 7 in the rankings this week. He started off the week with a 4th in the Legends race at Oxford, followed by a top ten while turning right on the Legends road course event. He also finished 7th in the Street Stock race, and led some laps in the Super Late Model race before dropping to 12th. We’ll look to see if Kevin can improve on these finishes and pick up a couple wins from here on out.

6. Travis Warling – Last Week’s Rank: 10th (+4)
Travis started off last Monday night with just an 8th place finish in the Legends race at Oxford. But in the second event, he returned to his comfort zone and went on to once again dominate a Legends road course race at NHMS. With another win, Travis is headed in the right direction to contend for a title again.

5. Ty Majeski – Last Week’s Rank: 4th (-1)
Ty started off the week in victory lane by winning the Legends race at Oxford. And he looked to be on his way to pick up a couple more wins during the week before running into trouble. He led 54 laps of the Street Stock race before a late race incident ended his night, and led 28 laps of the Super Late Model race before a round of pit stops would shuffle him deep in the field and he wasn’t able to recover. But we have no doubt that Ty will return to victory lane soon enough.

4. Ryan Borges – Last Week’s Rank: 6th (+2)
Ryan had another good week last week, which we’ve been accustomed after last season. He picked up a pair of 3rd place finishes on Monday night in both Legends race. He would finish just 11th in the Pro Late Model race, but rebounded in the Super Late Model race by charging towards the front late, and ended up with a top five finish. It looks like the new season hasn’t slowed Ryan down from picking up top five and top ten finishes, and we don’t expect it to.

3. Matt Rolfe – Last Week’s Rank: 3rd (+0)
Matt had another strong week last week. He started off by finishing just outside the top five in both Legends races. He also picked up a 4th place finish in the Pro Late Model race, and a top ten in the Super Late Model race. But his best finish of the week came in the Street Stock race when he snuck through a late race wreck, and held off Brooks over the final 15 laps of the race to pick up the victory. Matt has been consistently finishing inside the top ten to start the season, and we’ll look to see if he can keep it up.

2. Cody Kelley – Last Week’s Rank: 2nd (+0)
A trio of top five finishes keeps Cody secured in the number 2 spot this week in the rankings. He started off his week with a 4th place finish in the Street Stock race, and then improved that spot in the next two races. He finished 3rd in the Pro Late Model race, and snuck his way up to a runner-up finish in the Super Late Model race. With the 2nd place finish, he currently leads the SLM standings, so look for Cody to continue to run up front, as he possibly contends for the title this season.

1. Bill Martin – Last Week’s Rank: 1st (+0)
Add another win to the stats column for Bill, as he picked up the Pro Late Model win last Wednesday night. Through the first two weeks of the season, he now has one win in four of our active divisions. With a Super Late Model win, he could be just the second driver to win in all five divisions. Oh, and he also picked up four other top tens and two top fives in addition to the win last week as well. Look for Martin to continue to run up front every week, as he’s currently the man to beat almost every time out.

New This Week: Anthony Celentano, Jarrett Lawrence, Robby Roy, Ty Spearman
Dropped Out: Bill Brown, Fred Moreau
