This past week, in week number 9 of the season, we had all five divisions on track once again. With a double header event on Monday night, and an exciting pair of Twin 75 races on Wednesday night, there was plenty of chances for drivers to make a move in these rankings. Let’s take a look back at the Week 9 Power Rankings:

10. Jarrid Boiros & Ty Spearman – Last Week: NR
Neither Jarrid or Ty have been running full time this season in any division, but both have had some impressive runs over the past couple of weeks. Jarrid made his return to the Pro Late Models in Week 8 with a pole and a win, and he backed that up this past week with another pole, followed by 4th and 7th place finishes in the Twin 75 races. We hope Jarrid continues to run, and if he does, he should return to his familiar position at the front of our races. For Ty, he found success across multiple divisions this past week. He started off by picking up a 3rd place finish in the SK Shootout race at IRP, backed it up with a 5th in the Street Stock race, then kicked it up another notch by finishing in the runner-up spot in the Super Late Model race. Both of these drivers are no strangers to running up front, so we’ll see if they continue to run each week and continue to hang in these rankings.

9. Fred Moreau – Last Week: 10th (+1)
Fred has been hanging onto the Super Late Model points lead the last few weeks, and he continues to pick up solid finishes. At this point in the season, he just needs to stay out of trouble and run near the front of the field, and thats what he did at Oxford when he ended up with a 7th place finish. He ran better than that at times, but after getting stuck on the outside a couple on a couple of restarts, falling back to 7th wasn’t all that bad. We look for Fred to continue to run up front as he looks to hold on to the championship points lead as the season begins to wind down.

8. Justin Brooks – Last Week: NR
Justin spent the beginning of the season at the top of these rankings before dropping out for a couple weeks. But he returns this week while posting a couple of victories to his record. He started the week off with a 4th place finish in the Street Stock race. Then joined up in the second half of our Twin 75 event in the Pro Late Models, where he started dead last and wound up with the victory, and in the Super Late Model race, he lead from green to checkers to pick up his 2nd win of the week. We look for Justin to keep battling for wins each week as he looks to rise back up these rankings.

7. Stan Bragg – Last Week: 9th (+2)
Stan jumps up a couple of spots this week with some solid finishes all around last week. After a wreck in the Legends race, he recovered in the SK race the same night with a 2nd place finish. In the Street Stock race he would end up with a 7th place finish. Then in the Pro Late Model Twin 75’s, he would score a couple more top 10’s with 6th and 5th place finishes on that night. And we’ll also give him some credit for putting up the fastest time in our SLM practice..with our pace car… Stan continues to run up in the top 10 and top 5 in each division, so we don’t expect anything less from here on out during the season.

6. Matt Rolfe – Last Week: 6th (+0)
Much like the rest of these rankings, Matt comes in the same spot he was in last week in the rankings. He would have a solid week all overall, except for a couple of hiccups in the Pro Late Model Twin 75’s. But during the rest of the week, he would finish 6th in the Legends race and 4th in the SK race. Then in the Street Stocks he would finish 6th, and then closed out the week with yet another 6th place finish in the Super Late Model race. We look for much of the same from Matt throughout the rest of the season.

5. Cody Kelley – Last Week: 5th (+0)
Cody stays at number 5 in the rankings this week. He started off last Tuesday with a runner-up finish in the Street Stock race, but his first Pro Late Model Twin 75 race wouldn’t go quite as well as he would end up back in 17th. But in the second half of that Twin 75 night, he would rebound with a 3rd place finish after coming through the field. And in the Super Late Model race, he would stay up in the top 5 or 10 all night, and ended up with a 4th place finish to close out the week. Just like week said last week, Cody continues to run up front, and we expect that trend to follow through the end of the season.

4. Ty Majeski – Last Week: 4th (+0)
Ty has been on a charge lately, and picked up another win last week in the Street Stock race at New Smyrna. He took the pole in that race and dominated for the victory. Then in the Super Late Model race at Oxford, he had a fast enough car to be up front but would get caught up in some incidents, which led to him finishing at the back of the field. We look for Ty to rebound from that race, and probably pick up another couple of wins before the season is done, which should help him climb these rankings.

3. Travis Warling – Last Week: 3rd (+0)
Just one race for the Legends last week, and a 3rd place finish helps Travis stay at number 3 in the rankings this week. He started at the front and ran up there all race long before ending up with that 3rd place finish. Travis continues to lead the Legends points standings, and is in good shape to hang on if he keeps picking up top 5 finishes. With just 3 weeks left in the season, there’s still two more road courses on the schedule which we know Travis will run well at, but there’s also 3 more ovals as well. We look for him to finish off the season strong as he continues the hunt for the Legends title.

2. Ryan Borges – Last Week: 2nd (+0)
Consistency has been the key for Ryan since he has joined the league, and it keeps him at number 2 in the rankings once again this week. On Monday, he would start off by finishing 2nd in the Legends race, and picked up another top 5 right after that in the SK race. Then in the Street Stock race, he ended up with an 8th place finish. His Super Late Model race didn’t go as well when it ended early for him though, but was his only bad finish of the week. In 28 total starts for Ryan, he’s posted 23 top 10’s, and we expect the trend to continue as the season rolls on.

1. Bill Martin – Last Week: 1st (+0)
Not one.. not two.. but three victories for Bill last week keeps him at the top of the Power Rankings again this week. He picked up the double header wins on Monday night when he led every lap of both the Legends and SK races at IRP. And he picked up another victory when he charged to the front of the first Twin 75 race for the Pro Late Models. His other finishes weren’t too bad either, as he would finish 3rd in the Street Stock race, 2nd in the other Twin 75 event, and finished off the week with an 8th at Oxford in the Super Late Models. And oh yeah, he’s dominating the Pro Late Model points as well. As strong as he’s been running lately, it’s going to be hard to knock Bill off the top of these rankings if he keeps running at the front of the field each race.

New This Week: Jarrid Boiros, Ty Spearman, Justin Brooks
Dropped Out: Clay Snider, Dale Owen
