As we gear up for the final two weeks of the season and look to crown our champions, we are also preparing for another edition of our SARA Clash4Cash All-Star race. Last season we introduced the first version of the event, plotting drivers from all of our divisions against each other, and throwing them all on the track at the same time to compete on teams for a little extra cash. This time the event returns, with another division added to the mix, and a similar format that will provide plenty of good racing and a lot of fun to wrap up the season.
Here’s this season’s format for the SARA Clash4Cash:
Date: Thursday, December 18th (Thursday after our season ends)
Time: 9:00 PM Eastern
Track: Irwindale Speedway
Divisions: Super Late Model, Pro Late Model, SK Modified, Street Stock, Legends
Drivers: 5 drivers from each division will be invited to the event, 25 total cars
Teams: Teams will consist of 5 drivers, 1 driver from each division, and will be pre-determined and announced after qualifying and before the race
Format:
-30 Minute Practice
-Single car qualifying (open session, one car on track at a time)
-45 Minute timed race
-Cautions OFF
-Mandatory 4 tire pit stop, each driver MUST pit at least once!
-Two fast resets
