The MRolfeDesigns Pro Late Model Series made the trip to New Smyrna to run 125 laps tonight. Fresh off of sweeping the Twin 75 races last week, Justin Brooks would dominate again tonight.

Brooks would pick up the pole on the night, ahead of both of the Linkiewizc brothers, and thats the only advantage he needed to run away with the show. The longest run of the night would start on lap 28 after a restart, in which Jacob Linkiewizc would settle into 2nd, while Clay Snider, Scott Bell, and James Linkiewizc would battle it out for the top 5 spots over the course of 40 laps.

The run would end on lap 68 where James L peaked a nose under Snider and they would make contact, sending the two around with Bell and Matt Rolfe getting collected in the incident.

But back up front it would be Justin Brooks putting up another dominant performance as he picked up the win. James L would beat out Jacob L for the 2nd spot, Derek Robinson would survive to finish 4th, while Jarrett Lawrence rebounded to finish 5th.

After the earlier wreck, Snider’s car would be too damaged to have speed, but he would log the laps to get a 6th place finish. His points lead increases to 21 points over Rolfe, who would finish 15th after the wreck. Jarrett Lawrence moved up to a tie for the 2nd place in points after his run.

Next week the series heads to Oxford Plains for a 150 lap feature. For full results and standings from tonights race, click HERE.
