Race1.us Dirt Night presented by JB Trucking – Street Stocks – Round 8 – Nov. 26, 2018 – The Dirt Track at Charlotte
Last week, the Dirt Night series visited The Dirt Track for the second time this season, with another 60-lap A-Main.
Race Summary – A 9-car invert on the night brought Nicholas Johnston and Christian Pedersen to the front of the field, as both drivers sat tied atop the points standings entering the night. Johnston got the jump ahead on the first couple of double file starts, but Pedersen didn’t let him get more than a car length or so out in front, which was the case for most of the night. Eventually a majority of the front of the field would all move to the high side, and Johnston would hold them off up there, to pick up his 3rd win of the season.
Race Winner – Nicholas Johnston – Started 1st, 60 laps led
Top Five – 2nd Kenneth Drake, 3rd Christian Pedersen, 4th Alex Breuer, 5th Jordan Erickson
Hard Chargers – Steve Miskolczi (+14 Positions)
Heat Winners – Michael Crouch, Ryan Doucette, Alex Breuer
Points Battle – With Johnston winning the race and finishing ahead of Pedersen, Johnston takes sole possession of the points lead by 6 points with three races remaining.
